Modeling
I used Blender's Skin modifier, and modeled a base mesh by extruding vertices, then, I apply this mesh, and make some ajustments just to refine the shapes in sculpt mode.
Once I am happy with the overral shape of this character, I exported it to mixamo to make a quick posing and animation test.
Rigging
The rigging process was prety straight foward. I used Rigify to rig this character. I deleted the face features of the rig, and later, I made the eyes separate from the head, and used a lattice and shapekeys to blend between differents eye shapes.
Texturing
For texturing, I decided to paint in Blender as well because I don't wanted to make any complex shading for this. I just painted masks to have more control of the collors.
Lightning
The lightning is the most important part for the look of this piece, as I made simple shaders, I did my best on this part, to give a "stylized" look. I try to make it simple, because the main objective of this projetc was praticing my animation skills.
Animation
For animation I didn't want spiderman to do an action for no reason. So I animated this action, and put a little refference to the SMNWH movie.
I modeled the pupkin bomb, to help with storytelling. I used booleans, geometry nodes, to reach the same pupkin bomb of the SMNWH movie using some refference images.

I tryed to find the pattern that give form to the model, and added some details, based on the refferences. It's not 100% accurate, but I liked the result.

This part was funny too! I have no experience on animating 2D fx, but I did my best. Later, I discovered some FX in Blender's Grease Pencil that were fundamental to make the explosion look cool, bringing even more of that stylized vibe to this piece.
Once I finish the overrall animation, I started to put more details, expression, and refinment. Here I used a Lattice and shapekeys to make the eyes animation.
Color Grading
Here, I added some contrast, saturation, and I animate to this greenish look when the pupkin bomb appears.
Sound FX
I used some sound fx, mixing and changing different fx, to make the sound. I tried to do my best in here, and I liked the final result. :)
